EstiForge: Construction Tools

This Privacy Policy explains how EstiForge: Construction Tools (“EstiForge”, “the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the app. EstiForge provides construction calculators, unit converters, estimating tools, project tools, price-book functions, and related export features.
1. Information handled by the app
EstiForge does not require users to create an account and does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, or precise physical location to use its core features.
Calculations, saved projects, settings, price-book entries, and similar user-created information are intended to be stored locally on the user’s device. PDF or CSV files are generated or shared only when the user chooses to export or share them.
2. Advertising and automatically collected information
The free version of EstiForge may display advertisements using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Through this SDK, Google may automatically collect and share:
- Approximate location, inferred from the device’s IP address;
- App interactions, such as app launches, taps, and ad or video views;
- Diagnostic information, such as app or SDK performance information; and
- Device or other identifiers, including the Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and other applicable identifiers.
These data may be used for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
3. In-app purchases
EstiForge may offer digital upgrades or premium features through Google Play Billing. Payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Google may process purchase and device information according to its own privacy terms.
4. How information is used
Information described in this policy may be used to:
- provide and maintain app functionality;
- display, measure, and improve advertisements;
- understand app and advertising performance;
- diagnose technical problems and improve reliability; and
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents and comply with legal obligations.
5. Sharing of information
Information may be shared with Google and its service providers where necessary to provide advertising, analytics, billing, fraud prevention, security, and compliance services. We do not sell user-created project data or calculation data.
6. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored projects, settings, and calculation data remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears the app’s storage, or uninstalls the app. Because EstiForge does not maintain user accounts or a developer-controlled user-profile database, there is no account-deletion process.
Data processed by third-party services is retained according to those providers’ own retention policies. Users can manage or reset the Android advertising ID through their device settings and may be shown consent or privacy controls where required.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the app. Information transmitted by supported Google services is sent over encrypted connections. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children’s privacy
EstiForge is designed for adults and construction-related professional or practical use. It is not directed to children, and its declared target audience on Google Play is users aged 18 and over.
